I think the goods on offer are of good quality. Good selection and types of bot, the cake counter very rich, a large selection of apples. I've also tried meat and cheese and have always been satisfied. Other products are offered, which are much more expensive than the discounter. I don't shop there very often.

You can have a good breakfast here. There is everything your heart desires. Currently closed due to corona. Large selection of cakes and delicious apples, as well as self-pressed juices. Freshly cut fir trees are now available. 🎄🎄🎄🎄

The onion cake used to be really great. Today it consists almost entirely of dough. You can hardly taste onions, because apparently a lot of sour cream (?) Is used. It's a shame, especially since it's not cheap! (I can send a photo on request) Otherwise, the Obsthof Bitzel is beautifully located and the staff is very nice.

We have been to the Bitzel Hof several times and have now noticed that the quality and friendliness of mass processing has decreased. The range of cakes repeats itself constantly and everything tastes the same, sponge cake bases pale and now much too bitter shortcrust pastry base, a lot of batter topped with fruit. It's quick, but in the long run it gets boring in taste. How about some brandy, yeast or puff pastry ...

Very nicely located in the middle of the field. Been there years ago. Well raised now. You can sit inside and outside. Goods are good. There are apples, juices, secco ,. I have now tried the bread and the apples too, was here once for a drink and cake. Great, nothing to complain about. Keep it up.

The coffee is great and the cake really fresh. But the apples are simply amazing, fresh is not possible. Great. Come there especially from Weiterstadt.

We went to the Obsthof Bitzel for a delicious breakfast for the first time on August 28, 2020. As there is a very large crowd, it is advisable to reserve a table in advance. The breakfast was very tasty and varied, bread rolls, sausage, cheese, scrambled eggs with mushrooms (very nice!), A hot drink, an orange juice and delicious yogurt with fruit, small tomatoes, peppers, rocket salad, etc. All in one Plate served. Costs about 15 euros per plate, good price-performance ratio! There has been no buffet since Corona, you order and pay straight away at the counter, take your drinks and plates / cutlery with you and breakfast is then brought to your table. That worked really well and the service was quick and friendly. Later you clear your table yourself (it's actually a self-service restaurant). The large tables (we were inside) are far apart, each table has 4-6 places, where there were two of us and thanks to Corona you don't get anyone seated at the table. So we had a lot of space to enjoy the delicious breakfast. The corona rules are adhered to there, arrive, enter them in the list, disinfect hands, everyone has a mask on, including the staff, then you get assigned to your table. The farm shop, which is also there, is very attractive and has great things. We were astonished, because even on a normal weekday there was a lot of activity and there are already crowds of people who are "pushed through" for breakfast. But it is distributed well, because you can also use the outside area. Overall: we liked it and it tasted delicious, we'd love to come back!

We made a reservation by phone. I was asked: outside? I said: I'd like to go outside in good weather. Today it was pouring rain, no one could sit outside. The waiter said we made reservations outside. And then literally: Bad luck !! Apparently the Bitzelhof doesn't need to keep customers. They saw us for the last time today.

Very popular for brunch. Saturday is fully booked weeks in advance. Nicely situated. Selection is plentiful. You will only find fish in vain. A point deduction that all drinks cost extra except for sparkling wine and if you are unlucky, you only look at the wall, although tables with a view are not occupied. The cake pieces are far too big for one person. Still recommended

A nice place close to the Apple orchids and strawberry fields. The main restaurant shop sells Apples of different kind and juices in a large can. There is a large play area behind, towards the left of the shop, where there are some pigs and goats. Lovely place to hang out over the summer afternoon with kids left to play in the sand pit. They however have no veggie savory stuff.

Nice breakfast buffet, if you want you can sit outside and eat beside a goat, which I guess is exciting mainly for kids :-p

This place is a great spot for breakfast and nature. Tucked away in the apple farms you can expect a "home cooked" breakfast buffet and a very cosy atmosphere, both indoor and out. Its also great for smaller children.

Obsthof Bitzel great place for a family brunch. You can have yummy cakes & coffee which you can enjoy inside or outside in the garden. For the kids there is a playground with a petting zoo. In September and October you also have the option of carving a pumpkin. The farm shop also offers fruit, vegetables, juices, wine, jams from the local area to buy.
